Our Story
My name is Wes, and my story begins in Poland, where I grew up as the youngest of three brothers. My childhood was filled with family, hard work, and plenty of laughter. My older brothers one an electrician and the other a carpenter were 10 and 11 years ahead of me, and from the moment they finished trade school, I became their little helper on every home remodeling project they touched.
I didn’t know it then, but those early days were the foundation of the craftsmanship, work ethic, and passion I bring to every remodeling and construction project today. I learned by watching, helping, carrying tools, and doing whatever needed to be done. After school I helped my dad, and when my mom needed something heavy moved, she never had to ask I always stepped in. Growing up on a small farm taught me responsibility, teamwork, and the value of doing things the right way.
After finishing trade school in Poland, I moved to Austria to continue learning. I worked in a furniture carpentry shop in Schönau near Graz, and later joined my brother in Vienna renovating historic buildings. I spent eight years there, gaining experience, learning German, and working alongside skilled craftsmen.
In 1999, my wife and I traveled to Chicago and started our new journey. I started helping a residential remodeling company, and everyone was surprised by how much I already knew about carpentry, electrical, tile, framing, and more. After a few years, with company sponsorship, we received our green cards and later became proud U.S. citizens.
